How Handwrite handles your data.

Handwrite is operated by Perspec Digital. This policy applies to information collected through the Handwrite website, app, billing flows, and support channels.

Depending on how you use Handwrite, we may collect:

• Account information, such as email address and authentication details used to access the service.
• User inputs and outputs, such as uploaded homework photos, screenshots, text prompts, edits, typed answers, previews, and generated files.
• Billing and subscription data, such as customer identifiers, subscription status, usage limits, and payment-related metadata provided by payment processors.
• Usage and device data, such as IP address, user-agent, page interactions, event logs, and diagnostic information.
• Support and security records, such as support emails, abuse-prevention logs, and consent or compliance records.

• To provide the upload, solve, preview, and export features.
• To authenticate users and manage access by plan or quota.
• To process billing, subscriptions, and account management.
• To monitor product usage, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
• To enforce terms, prevent abuse, and respond to legal obligations.
• To communicate with users about support, billing, or policy changes.

Homework photos, screenshots, prompts, and related content may be sent to third-party processors and model providers so Handwrite can generate answers, previews, and downloadable outputs.

We use uploaded and submitted content to operate the service, maintain the product, investigate issues, and meet legal obligations. We do not make broader promises here about model-training restrictions or data monetization practices beyond what is stated in this policy.

We may share information with providers that help us run Handwrite, including providers for hosting, authentication, billing, analytics, storage, customer support, and AI or model processing.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale.

Handwrite uses analytics tools, cookies, local storage, and similar browser technologies to keep sessions working, remember state, measure product usage, and understand how onboarding or marketing flows perform.

This includes product analytics and limited session replay tooling on selected site areas to help diagnose friction, bugs, and conversion drop-off. We avoid enabling replay on the core homework editor by default.

Browser settings, extensions, or privacy tools may affect whether some of these technologies work fully.

We aim to keep information only as long as it is reasonably needed to operate Handwrite, maintain account and billing state, investigate issues, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service.

• Some uploads may be processed transiently as part of the workflow.
• Some account, billing, support, and analytics records may persist longer for operational, compliance, or anti-abuse reasons.
• Deletion timing may vary because of backups, provider workflows, and legal requirements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through Handwrite. No system is perfectly secure.

Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate.

Handwrite is intended for users who are at least 13 years old and is not directed to children under 13.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or portability of certain personal data, or to object to or limit some processing.

We may update this policy as Handwrite, our providers, or legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the date above.

Handwrite is operated by Perspec Digital in the United States, and the Handwrite Terms are governed by New York law.
